  Not our favorite. Wanted to order ribs on the menu, was told at ordering not available that day. Requested brisket and again was told not available the day we were there. Had to then ask what was served that day. I had the chicken which was pretty good. However a half a chicken served with only a plastic fork. I don't mind eating with my fingers, just not used to doing this in a restaurant.
  
  Wife has chopped pork. She found the pork too salty to enjoy. Neither of us could find a sauce that we really liked. Sides were good.

  Wonderful food, very friendly service. It is a rather small restaurant. Hope they will consider expanding the building in the near future.

  We had a fantastic meal consisting of brisket, ribs, hush puppies, potato salad, and coleslaw. The owner stopped on by the table and chatted with us and was extremely friendly and enjoyable to talk to despite how busy it was that night. Sure is a great change of pace when compared to Northern Virginia. I wish we could have something similar close to home!
